Hi there! I’m Sivia Castro, a bilingual counselor offering services in both English and Spanish. In my practice, I cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore and share their concerns. I place a high value on understanding the unique experiences and needs of each individual, which shapes my personalized approach to counseling.
I specialize in a person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative counseling approach, customizing evidence-based methods to support each client’s journey of healing and personal growth. My experience spans across children, adolescents, and adults, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I am particularly dedicated to guiding clients through trauma processing with empathy and insight. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. Additionally, I am trained in levels I and II of the Gottman Method, which I integrate to help clients improve their relationships and interpersonal dynamics.
