My name is Natalia German, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I possess a wide range of professional experience working with various clients throughout their lifespans, addressing a variety of issues. I interned with Collier County Public Schools, where I floated between elementary and high school grade levels, assisting with life changes, home stressors, and some evaluations. During my time at Project Help, I served as both an advocate and therapist, working closely with victims and providing them with resources after treatment was complete. Currently, in a private practice setting, I help individuals overcome symptoms of grief, depression, victimization, PTSD, stress, and relationship issues.
I have found my passion in working with first responders in our community, assisting them with work-related stressors and helping them adjust to life at home.I am EMDR certified and incorporate several therapeutic techniques into my sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. As a client-centered therapist, I believe that building a strong relationship with my clients is key to effective therapy. Together, I support clients in cultivating a safe, accepting, and warm space for them to share their experiences and work through any challenges they may be facing. I collaborate with my clients to leverage their strengths and build on the best aspects of themselves to achieve positive outcomes and personal growth.
