Livia Ledbetter

MS, LCSW

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
― Carl Rogers

Hi! My name is Livia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I received my undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida in 2019, and my Masters in clinical social work from Florida State University in 2021. I began my social work journey as an intern working with families reunifying after involvement in the child welfare system. This, along with my outpatient therapy and school-based clinical experiences has given me a passion for and unique insight into the mental health struggles and needs facing children, families, parents and guardians.

I work with children, teenagers, and adults facing depression, anxiety, unprecedented life stressors, and other mental health struggles. I believe everyone has endless potential for healing, great joy, and building a life worth living on their terms.

I utilize a holistic and person-centered approach to therapy. You are in the driver’s seat, but I can help to decipher the map! I include elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral informed therapy, play in therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and art in therapy.

I work with clients to identify and engage their support systems, identify and practice their internal and external coping skills, and learn to hold space for the entire spectrum of emotions. Emotions are messengers, and we will work together to uncover what they mean for you.

I am an ally to the LGBTQ community, and have experience working with those who are trans and non-binary identifying, as well as those who are neuro-divergent or on the autism spectrum.

I strive to create an open, safe, affirming space for all clients where they are seen, heard, understand, and feel safe enough to express their needs. I look forward to working with you.
