More than 10 years ago I sought help from a mental health counselor. In the end, it was
a wonderful, life-changing experience but I do recall being nervous and anxious as I
filled out paperwork before our first session. The anxiousness continued for several
sessions until suddenly I realized I was making progress toward my goals!
Hello, my name is Judy Arnold. I am a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling,
and I plan to graduate in December 2025. I am happy to be a member of the Therapy
Treatment Team, and I will be working under supervision of a Licensed Professional
Counselor.
Using evidenced-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution focused, person-
centered therapy, we will identify changes you want to make and set attainable goals to
help us achieve those goals. As we work together, I will empower you to consider
alternatives, try them on, determine if they fit; or not. As we explore and find what fits,
practice those new behaviors, and find what works to make those desired changes in
your life. I bring to therapy an empathetic style, and in your shoes, we will walk together
down the road to bring out the clarity and peacefulness that already rests within you.
I enjoy working with a population between 18 and 60 years of age who have concerns in
social constructs, depression, anxiety, marital discord, substance abuse, gender
concerns, relationship difficulty, and co-parenting. You deserve to be happy and in
control of your life!
