If you have decided to start therapy, I am here for you. My name is Diana, and I am committed to offer you a compassionate, nonjudgmental, safe environment where you can comfortably express your thoughts and feelings. Together we will identify challenges and find how you can better manage them.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with solid experience working in multiple areas such as trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorder. I have been privileged to work with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse cultural backgrounds. I have also had the opportunity to work with parents using my training in the Nurturing Parenting Program. I utilize different therapeutic modalities such as Play Therapy, Sand Tray, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Client-Centered, Mindfulness Techniques, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am convinced that each one of us have the tools withing ourselves to overcome challenges, heal and live a fulfilling life.
