My name is Blaise Care, and I am a clinical student intern at Liberty University. The graduate coursework within Liberty University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program provides the foundational knowledge and skills to promote client wellness through counseling services. While this CACEP-accredited program has aided in my comprehension of therapeutic methods and techniques, my belief that all humanity can experience holistic healing drives my desire to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and provide services to the Tampa Bay area.
As a former educator and foster care licensing specialist, I have vast experience walking alongside adolescents and families as they navigate challenging thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I yearn to cultivate a clinical atmosphere that allows such individuals to explore the innermost beliefs and desires that drive their decision-making. Through an environment of inclusion, all clients are encouraged to discover personal freedom in accordance with their unique upbringing, heritage, and worldview. I deeply believe that all individuals are entitled to a life in which they don’t merely survive but thrive.
