James Fargnoli

MSW RCSWI

Hello, my name is James Fargnoli, I am a registered clinical social work intern with the state of Florida. I am committed to supporting individuals on their path to recovery, growth and healing from emotional distress. I have four years of experience in clinical settings since becoming a social worker in 2020. I specialize in working with adults of all age groups and backgrounds while navigating a range of challenges, including addictions, depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, personality disorders, ADHD, thought disorders, and mood disorders.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, solution focused, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, and substance use recovery concepts. I believe deeply in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique stories and creating a safe, supportive space where one can experience enlightenment and insight into themselves.

Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse environments including assisted living facilities, where I spent 22 years as a chef, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and behavioral health. These experiences have shaped my holistic perspective and reinforced my belief in the resilience of the human spirit along with the mind-body-spirit connection. Now, in private practice, I am excited to offer personalized care that integrates clinical insight with a deep respect for the shared human experience. Whether you’re seeking support for your recovery for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, together we can work towards reaching your goals and achieving the best version of yourself.
