Hello and welcome! I’m Olivia Fry, a passionate and dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counselor. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services with a minor in Psychology from Iowa State University, my journey in the field of mental health has been both enriching and rewarding.
I have experience working with children, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a warm, compassionate approach to my practice. I incorporate play therapy to create a safe and engaging environment where young minds can express themselves and navigate their emotions. Additionally, I have experience and a keen interest in working with college-aged students, veterans, and first responders, providing tailored support for the unique challenges they face.
My practice is inclusive and supportive, with significant experience addressing relational issues, life adjustments, behavioral concerns, school-related challenges, and more. I am committed to helping clients manage symptoms of grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and beyond.
Using an integrative approach, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am dedicated to providing trauma-informed care and focus on harm reduction to ensure a supportive and non-judgmental space for healing.
I see clients both virtually and in person, offering flexible options to meet your needs. Counseling, to me, is a collaborative relationship where we work together to enhance your overall well-being. I am committed to addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each individual to create a balanced and healthy life. Let’s embark on this journey together to achieve your goals and improve your quality of life.
