Looking for guidance and support in life can be a difficult decision, but you don’t have to face your challenges alone. My name is Sharon Paz Pierson. As a bilingual counselor. fluent in both English and Spanish, I am dedicated to helping individuals of all backgrounds navigate through the struggles of life.
I completed my dual master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Over the years, I have worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, as well as students of different ages in both school and clinical settings. I have also worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief, among other concerns.
As a counselor, I believe that every individual can benefit from counseling, and my therapeutic approach combines and applies techniques from different counseling theories, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I will work with you to identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas where you would like to see improvement.
